How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    After School Club Leader - Infant School in Worksop

    Location: Worksop
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm
    Contract: Permanent Position (initially payroll through Tradewind Recruitment)
    Start Date: ASAP

    Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming infant school in Worksop for an enthusiastic and caring After School Club Leader to join their team on a permanent basis.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment at the end of the school day.

    The Role

    As the After School Club Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a group of approximately 10-15 children from EYFS to Key Stage 1 between 3:00pm and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

    You will plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate activities, ensure the welfare and safety of all children, and create a positive atmosphere where children can relax, play, and develop social skills after the school day has ended.

    Responsibilities

    Leading the daily operation of the after-school club including manager other staff
    Supervising children aged 4-7 years old
    Planning and organising engaging indoor and outdoor activities
    Providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
    Preparing and serving light snacks in line with food hygiene standards
    Maintaining accurate registers and following safeguarding procedures
    Building positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff

    The Ideal Candidate

    Enjoys working with children and supporting their development
    Has excellent communication and organisational skills
    Is reliable, enthusiastic, and able to lead activities independently
    Previous experience working in a school, childcare, nursery, or club setting would be advantageous but is not essential
    A First Aid Certificate and Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial; however, training can be provided by the school
