How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
    Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

    PE Teacher Required - Wellingborough Area

    Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and energetic PE Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator who is committed to promoting physical education, healthy lifestyles, and student achievement.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The school offers excellent facilities and a supportive environment where both staff and students are encouraged to excel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that inspire and motivate students.
    Teach a broad range of sporting activities and physical education topics.
    Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
    Promote participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
    Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities.
    Maintain high standards of behaviour and student engagement.The Successful Candidate Will Have:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
    Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
    Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners of all abilities.
    A passion for sport, fitness, and student development.
    Excellent communication and organisational skills.
