Mechanical Supervisor - Bristol

£280-£320 per day (Outside IR35) | Long-Term Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a growing team delivering high-quality commercial projects across Bristol and the South West.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional looking for long-term contract work across a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from £2 million to £5 million in mechanical value.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all mechanical installation works on site
Manage subcontractors and site operatives to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
Monitor progress and provide updates to the Mechanical Site Manager, Project Manager, and Contracts Manager
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, RAMS, and site standards
Conduct quality inspections and oversee snagging and close-out activities
Coordinate labour, materials, and plant to ensure efficient project delivery
Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
Maintain accurate site records and reports
Promote high standards of workmanship and productivity across all mechanical packages

Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within commercial fit-out or building services projects
Strong technical understanding of HVAC, pipework, plant rooms, and mechanical building services installations
SSSTS or SMSTS certification
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience supervising subcontractors and coordinating multiple work fronts
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and project programmes
Valid CSCS card
