How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are looking for a Project Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
    Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Project Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
    Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
    The Project Manager, will be responsible for:
    * Lead end-to-end delivery of lifecycle and variation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and fully compliant with HTM, HBN, CDM, and BSA 2022 requirements.
    * Develop and manage comprehensive project plans across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and training phases.
    * Coordinate asset surveys, contractor activities, and stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless FM service delivery.
    * Provide robust financial management and reporting, including budget tracking, reconciliations, and management information to support decision-making.
    * Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance, supporting ISO 14001 initiatives and ensuring accurate documentation, including O&M manuals.
    To be successful for this Project Manager role you must have:
    * Extensive experience delivering Lifecycle and Variation projects within PFI environments, including full MEP project delivery.
    * Strong knowledge of key regulations and frameworks including CDM 2015, HTM, HBN, RIBA stages, and the Building Safety Act (BSA).
    * Proven capability managing projects within high-risk buildings, ensuring full compliance with BSA requirements.
    * Good commercial and contractual awareness within PFI, with the ability to manage stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.
