Do you have strong commercial/contract management experience in the Aerospace & Defence sector and enjoy working in a fast-paced, technology-led environment? This is an opportunity to join a high-growth Electronic Warfare programme area, supporting UK and international customers across both UK and export markets.
You'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of contracts and bid activity, working within integrated project teams to shape commercial strategy, manage risk, and support successful business winning.
Key responsibilities
Provide commercial leadership across contracts and bids, ensuring robust strategy and governance
Draft, negotiate and administer complex terms & conditions (including subcontract flow-down)
Lead commercial inputs to proposals, internal approvals, and customer submissions
Produce accurate, compliant pricing using appropriate pricing models and strategies
Manage change control, monitor contractual performance, and mitigate commercial risk
Draft/review NDAs, software licences, MoUs and wider contractual documentation
Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers
Prioritise workload, manage expectations, and deliver to tight deadlinesWhat we're looking for
Proven track record in business winning and contracts management within Aerospace & Defence
Confident influencing and briefing at senior level
Experience with UK Government and international contracts (UK and export)
Strong commercial acumen: P&L, margin/mark-up, escalation, FX
Understanding of export legislation, import taxes and duties
Solid knowledge of contract law and practical application
Proactive, tenacious, results-driven approach with excellent communication skills
Willingness to travel in the UK, with occasional overseas travelLocation: Luton or Lincoln (hybrid working with some home working)
Ideal candidates will have current SC clearance
