About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit an enthusiastic Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established science department committed to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across the curriculum, in line with Department for Education standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (specialism welcomed)
Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour standards
Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
Demonstrates effective classroom management skills
Is committed to safeguarding and improving outcomes for all students

£168.00 - £261.00 per day
