We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic, passionate and caring EYFS Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming school on the outskirts of Stafford supporting their Reception class. The hours in which you will be expected to work will be 32.5 hours a week. The successful candidate will have experience working within the Early Years settings and must hold full and relevant Level 3 qualifications in Early Years.
Your duties will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development through play-based, engaging and stimulating experiences and activities. Your duty will be to create a nurturing environment where all pupils thrive and flourish.
The role may include:
Supporting teaching and learning within a Reception class.
Working with individual pupils and providing small group interventions where necessary.
Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation.
Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and progress.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment at all times.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.We are looking for someone who:
Must have experience working with children in an educational setting.
Holds a NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent.
Recent experience of working in a school.
Has a positive, flexible and professional approach to work.
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
Can provide professional references.
Is reliable, enthusiastic and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Can travel to the outskirts of Stafford.What we offer:
