We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Colchester that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join its Humanities department. Job Overview:
Full-time, Monday - Friday Geography Teacher role.
Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire a passion for Geography.
Teach a range of topics including physical geography, human geography, environmental issues and global development.
Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure strong attainment and achievement.
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school community.
Contribute to curriculum development, fieldwork opportunities and enrichment activities.

What we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Geography or a related subject.
Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge across physical and human geography.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
A passion for Geography and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
A proactive, positive and collaborative approach.
