Head of Controlling, Planning, Reporting

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Head of Reporting, Accounting & Controlling to lead financial operations for a key business area. This is a high-impact leadership position where you will shape financial strategy, ensure strong governance, and enable business performance through high-quality reporting and insight. Your reporting line will be directly to the Finance Director.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you'll lead a critical finance function and play a central role in supporting business success:
Lead strategic financial planning to enhance performance and support long-term growth
Lead all aspects of financial reporting and accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance
Own forecasting processes, including revenue, cost, and profitability analysis
Provide leadership across reporting, accounting, and controlling, ensuring robust governance and risk management
Partner with senior stakeholders to drive alignment and support decision-making
Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and controls What you'll bring

We're looking for an expert finance leader who combines commercial expertise with strategic thinking:
Controller / Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting, and controlling in a complex organisation
Deep knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management
Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders
Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Desirable (but not essential)
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
Track record of delivering process improvements and efficiencies
International finance experience or exposure to cross-border operations
Familiarity with AI tools for finance transformation
Experience using Power BI or similar analytics tools
