A CNC Machinist opportunity has become available with a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing business supplying high-quality components to a diverse customer base. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, the company is looking to strengthen its machining team with the addition of a CNC Machinist on a permanent day shift basis. In return, the successful individual will receive a competitive hourly rate, bonus, overtime opportunities and the chance to join a stable manufacturing environment operating a Monday to Thursday working week.
CNC Machinist responsibilities include -
Setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures and machine settings to achieve required tolerances.
Producing components to exacting quality standards and customer requirements.CNC Machinist desirable skills and experience -
Previous experience working within a CNC Operator, CNC Miller, or similar machining position.
Ability to set, operate and programme CNC milling machinery within a manufacturing environment.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings confidently.
Good understanding of engineering tolerances and quality requirements.CNC Machinist benefits include -

32 days annual leave including bank holidays.
