Ground Worker

A1 Jobs are are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker to join our clients growing team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of civil engineering and construction projects, carrying out groundwork activities to support site operations and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Excavation and preparation of sites.

* Laying foundations, drainage systems, kerbs, and paving.

* Concreting, trenching, and backfilling.

* Operating small plant and machinery where qualified.

* Assisting with site setup and general labouring duties.

* Following health and safety procedures at all times.

* Working effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Ground Worker or in a similar construction role.

* Valid CSCS card (essential).

* CPCS/NPORS plant tickets (desirable).

* Good understanding of site health and safety practices.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
