About the Company
Our client is a well-established, family-run planning consultancy with a strong reputation and a growing workload. The business is currently made up of two full-time Chartered Planners, supported by an experienced administrative team, and is experiencing a sustained increase in project demand.
As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint either a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join their close-knit team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering planning advice across a varied portfolio of projects and helping support the next phase of the company's expansion.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated town planner seeking greater responsibility within a smaller consultancy environment where their contribution will have a direct impact on the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
·Managing a range of planning applications and appeals.
·Providing planning advice to clients across various sectors.
·Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation.
·Liaising with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders.
·Assisting with business growth and client development opportunities.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
·MRTPI status (or be working towards Chartership if applying at Planner level).
·Approximately 4-5 years' planning experience within either the private or public sector.
·Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·The ability to manage projects independently and work effectively within a small team environment.
