How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are seeking a proactive Building Manager to provide cover across a Greater Manchester portfolio, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service. This role involves managing building facilities, liaising with clients, and maintaining high standards throughout the property.

    Description

    The Building Manager will:

    Cover various properties across the portfolio.
    Operate the reception area and welcome visitors and staff.
    Liaise daily with building clients and senior management.
    Book meeting rooms and manage amenity areas.
    Monitor cleaning standards across the facility.
    Maintain building check sheets and ensure presentation of internal and external areas.
    Coordinate with the Facilities Manager for minor maintenance tasks.
    Close down the building and amenity areas at the end of the day, ensuring readiness for the next day.Profile

    A successful Building Manager should have:

    Experience in facilities/building management.
    Strong hospitality and client relationship skills.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Highly organised with attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
    Flexible and adaptable to work across various buildings.
    Flexibility to work across various locations in the region.
    A background in real estate and property management.
