Overall purpose of the job
Join the UI Team within the Electronic Trading Technology division to work on a major platform.
Act as a Low Latency Front Office Trade Technology UI Developer to help expand this established electronic trading platform to support Emerging Markets.
Collaborate within a global team to deliver high-performance, real-time solutions.
Key skills
Proven experience working in electronic trading (Rates experience is preferred, though Credit and Equities backgrounds are also suitable).
Extensive experience developing real-time trading UIs designed to handle high-frequency data changes with millisecond latency.
Strong technical proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and Angular (React experience is not applicable for this role).
Solid experience working with WebSockets, Redux, and AG Grid for UI tables.
Familiarity with OpenFin.
Experience with, or a strong understanding of, test automation.
Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployments (familiarity with bespoke on-premise cloud infrastructure is helpful, though extensive cloud deployment experience is not strictly required).
Key responsibilities
Communicate and collaborate directly with front-office staff, specifically eliciting requirements from traders based in London and New York.
Design and build the electronic trading system in accordance with the exact requirements gathered from the trading desks.
Work closely alongside a UX designer to ensure the platform is intuitive and optimized for a fast-paced trading environment
