Key Responsibilities
· Deliver high-intensity psychological interventions, primarily trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT)
· Provide EMDR interventions (if trained and appropriately accredited)
· Manage a caseload of clients with complex trauma presentations, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care
· Conduct detailed clinical assessments, formulation and treatment planning
· Work as part of a multi-agency service, including NHS, VCSE partners and criminal justice stakeholders
· Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including use of interpreters where required
· Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality clinical documentation
· Promote safe, effective and evidence-based practice within a trauma-informed framework
· Contribute to service development, MDT working and clinical discussions
· Uphold safeguarding standards and support individuals in their recovery journey
Essential Requirements
· Accredited CBT Therapist with full BABCP registration
· Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience working with trauma presentations
· Experience delivering trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT) as a primary intervention
· EMDR training/accreditation (desirable but highly advantageous)
· Proven experience working with complex trauma, including sexual assault or abuse
· Strong assessment, formulation and caseload management skills
· Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environment
