The Role – English Teacher (Maternity Cover)
The successful English Teacher will be able to teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 being advantageous.
You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and effective English lessons.
Develop creative and stimulating lesson plans that cater to a range of learning abilities and encourage a love of reading and writing.
Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to help students achieve their full potential.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, equipping them with the skills and confidence to succeed.
Contribute to the wider life of the English department and school community.

Key Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
A relevant degree in English or a related subject.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education.
