Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Location: Near Uxbridge
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday 8:00am–12:00pm (37 hours per week)

Are you an experienced Mechanical Inspector with a background in manufacturing, aerospace or precision engineering?

Syntech Recruitment are supporting a leading engineering manufacturer near Uxbridge that is looking to add a Mechanical Inspector to its quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business producing highly engineered products where quality, accuracy and attention to detail are critical.

The Role

* Inspect components and assemblies using a range of inspection techniques

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

* Verify dimensions, tolerances and surface finishes

* Complete inspection documentation and quality records

* Record non-conformances and inspection findings

* Use SAP to track components and work in progress

* Ensure inspection equipment remains calibrated and maintained

* Support continuous improvement and 5S activities

* Work closely with manufacturing teams to maintain quality standards

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience as a Mechanical Inspector, Quality Inspector or Final Inspector

* Experience using inspection and measuring equipment

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Working knowledge of GD&T

* Strong numeracy and geometry skills

* Manufacturing or engineering background

* Experience using hand tools and gauges

* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Desirable Experience

* Aerospace industry experience

* CMM inspection experience

* AS9102 FAIR knowledge

* SAP experience
