How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for the next step in your career with a leading construction business?
    Our client is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead the successful delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for quality, safety, and innovation.

    The Role
    As Senior Site Manager, you will take ownership of projects on site, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
    Key responsibilities include:
    ·Leading and mentoring site teams to achieve project objectives.
    ·Managing construction activities from mobilisation through to completion and client handover.
    ·Planning, implementing and monitoring site logistics.
    ·Coordinating labour, subcontractors, and project resources effectively.
    ·Managing project delays and implementing solutions to maintain programme targets.
    ·Ensuring dimensional controls are established and maintained throughout the project.
    ·Maintaining accurate project records and site diaries.
    ·Driving compliance with health & safety, quality assurance, and company management systems.
    ·Working closely with design teams to ensure the timely release of information.
    ·Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, neighbours, and stakeholders.
    ·Delivering projects to the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

    About You
    We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
    ·A construction-related degree or a strong trade background with significant site management experience.
    ·Proven experience delivering construction projects as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager.
    ·Strong leadership and team management skills.
    ·Excellent knowledge of construction health & safety legislation and best practice.
    ·Valid CSCS Card.
    ·SMSTS qualification.
    ·First Aid certification.
    ·Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    ·A proactive approach to problem-solving and programme management.
