How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The role focuses on low voltage electronics testing, circuit level fault finding, and functional verification. This ensures our hardware meets strict performance, reliability, and quality requirements for demanding marine, recreational vehicle (RV), and automotive environments. Support the development of new and existing electronic products
Build, modify, and test electronic prototypes and pre‑production units
Set up and execute functional and performance tests on PCBs and assemblies
    Analyse electronic circuits including:
Interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials
Identify electronic design weaknesses and support design improvements
Work closely with design engineers to support development iterations

    Quality Assurance & Control (≈50%)

Perform verification and validation testing against electronic product requirements
Carry out quality testing on production and incoming electronic assemblies
    Investigate electronic failures from:
    Production testing
    Environmental or endurance testing
    Customer and field returns
Perform component‑ and PCB level fault finding
Identify root causes and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Support pre‑compliance testing activities (e.g. EMC related investigations)
Ensure test results, failures, and actions are clearly documented and traceable

    Skills and Experience

Strong hands on practical experience with low voltage electronic products.
Proven PCB‑level fault‑finding and diagnostic capability.
Experience testing power electronics, charging circuits, or control electronics.
Confident use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads.
Ability to analyse failures down to component or circuit level.
Clear technical reporting and documentation skills.
Experience in marine, automotive, or rugged consumer electronics is desirable.

    Qualifications

HNC/HND, degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent in Electronic Engineering.
Relevant industry experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
