Key Responsibilities:
Assess contractor dashboards and provide recommendations where needed
Brief the Project Manager on the cost status of works
Coordinate the implementation and day-to-day running of the Project Change / Trend programme
Monitor timely raising and closure of Trends
Use the Trend Database and support weekly trend meetings to update AFC
Job Requirements:
Security Clearance (SC Clearance) is mandatory
Previous experience as a Cost Engineer or in a similar role
Extensive knowledge of cost engineering fundamentals, including estimating, cost control, and cost analysis
Strong understanding of NEC contract knowledge and operational implementation
Ability to function as part of an integrated team, covering scope, schedule, and cost
Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with confidence in presenting cost information to management and clients
Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities
Good understanding of wider project processes, including engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up
Advanced Excel skills are desirable
Experience with forecasting, scheduling techniques, and risk analysis

Salary description
£55.00 - £60.00 per hour
