How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Site Manager to join our successful construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career with a top-tier housebuilding company renowned for delivering high-quality homes and exceptional customer satisfaction.

    Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of residential developments, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Support the Site Manager in the effective management of new-build housing developments.
    Assist in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour.
    Monitor construction progress against programme targets.
    Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
    Conduct quality inspections and help maintain exceptional build standards.
    Assist with site documentation, reports, and compliance records.
    Support customer care initiatives and help deliver an excellent homebuyer experience.
    Ensure materials, plant, and resources are efficiently managed.
    Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised site environment.
    To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

    Previous experience within residential construction or housebuilding.
    Experience in a supervisory role such as Assistant Site Manager, Finishing Foreman, Site Supervisor, or similar.
    Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety regulations.
    Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced construction environment.
    A proactive approach with a strong eye for detail and quality.
    Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
    CSCS Card.
    First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).What We Offer:
