Responsibilities:
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing support to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
* Assisting with the implementation of individualized education plans.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive atmosphere.
* Encouraging independence and personal development in students.
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A genuine passion for working with students with special needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to be patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
* Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
* A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting the educational and emotional development of SEND students.
