How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Beauty Works retails luxury hair solutions, including ready to wear clip-ins, semi-permanent professional extensions and exclusive collaborations. Beauty Works operates internationally to both to salon professional and directly to consumers and is owned by a Beauty Industry Group based in Salt Lake City and has the largest share of the hair extensions market in the world.


    Job Summary

    We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Quality Team as a Hair Extensions Product & Quality Assistant.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administrative, coordination or office-based experience who enjoys organisation, working with data and supporting business processes. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in products, quality and how things work behind the scenes to deliver a great customer experience.


    Working closely with our Quality and Product Development teams, you will support the day-to-day administration of quality processes, maintain product records and assist with product inspections and testing activities. You will play an important role in helping ensure our hair extension products consistently meet company quality standards, product specifications and customer expectations.

    The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple tasks, following established processes and maintaining accurate records. We are looking for someone who is proactive, keen to learn and confident taking ownership of their responsibilities while communicating effectively with colleagues across the business.


    Role Outline & responsibilities

    • Support the day-to-day administration of quality processes across the product lifecycle.
    • Assist with product inspections, sample reviews, testing activities and incoming shipment assessments to help ensure products meet company standards and specifications.
    • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, product documentation and quality logs.
    • Track product testing, supplier submissions, approvals and open quality actions, ensuring information is kept up to date.
    • Support the investigation of product concerns, customer feedback and quality claims, highlighting recurring issues or trends to the Quality Team.
    • Prepare and maintain quality data and reports for management review.
    • Maintain product archives and sample libraries across all brands.
    • Communicate quality findings and updates with internal teams, suppliers and other stakeholders where required.
    • Work closely with Product Development, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Brand Teams to support product quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Take ownership of assigned tasks, proactively identify potential issues and ensure actions are completed accurately and on time.
    • Provide general administrative support to the Quality Team and assist with ongoing projects and departmental priorities.


    Key Skills

    We are looking for someone who enjoys organisation, administration and working with detail.

    You may already have experience in an administrative, coordinator, operations, customer service or support role and be looking to develop your career within a growing beauty brand.


    • Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or support-based role.
    • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • Comfortable working with data, reports and maintaining accurate records.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
    • Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate concerns.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Confident communicating with colleagues across different departments.
    • Able to follow processes and ensure work is completed accurately and consistently.
    • Good judgement when handling information and raising potential issues appropriately.
    • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
    • Interest in beauty, hair products, product quality or consumer goods is desirable.
    • Experience using NetSuite or similar business systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
