Job Title: Quality Inspector
Salary: £32,000–£36,000
Location: Chester
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and required quality standards
- Record and maintain accurate inspection data and quality documentation
- Identify, contain, and report non-conforming products in line with procedures
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Work closely with production and quality engineering teams to resolve quality issues efficiently
- Use a range of inspection and measurement equipment (e.g., callipers, micrometres, gauges, CMM where applicable)
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or similar inspection role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools
- Manufacturing or engineering background preferred
