Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Used Car Sales Person role based at our Preston location. The role involves welcoming and engaging customers, identifying their needs, and guiding them through the process of selecting suitable used vehicles. The Used Car Sales Person will present vehicle features and benefits, arrange test drives, and provide clear information on pricing, finance, and additional products. Responsibilities include preparing accurate quotations, handling negotiations in a professional manner, and completing all documentation and compliance checks. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, ensuring the used car display is well-presented, and following up with customers to support satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused mindset with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Retention.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust and rapport with a diverse customer base.
- Experience or strong interest in Automotive Sales, with the ability to understand vehicle features and value propositions.
- Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple customer interactions and follow-ups.
- Comfortable working to sales targets and KPIs in a fast-paced showroom environment.
- Basic IT proficiency for using dealership systems, CRM tools, email, and digital documentation.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or vehicle sales is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
- Full, valid UK driving licence and the ability to conduct safe and professional test drives.
