Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Office Administrator role based in Wolverhampton. The Office Administrator will handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, maintaining records and databases, and organizing digital and paper filing systems. Responsibilities include answering phone calls and emails, greeting visitors, and providing responsive customer service to clients, drivers, and partners. The role involves coordinating office supplies and equipment, supporting scheduling and logistics documentation, and preparing basic reports or spreadsheets as required. The Office Administrator will work closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure smooth information flow and support the efficient running of the office.
Qualifications
- Strong Office Administration and Administrative Assistance skills essential in Word and Excel, including organizing documents, managing calendars, and supporting daily office operations.
- Ability to use and troubleshoot basic Office Equipment such as printers, scanners, telephony systems, and standard office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets).
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
- Customer Service skills, including responding promptly to inquiries, managing expectations, and maintaining a positive, solutions-focused approach.
- Previous experience in an office-based role, ideally within logistics, transport, or a related sector.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Wolverhampton and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
