The Opportunity
Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the group’s global tax strategy across reporting, compliance, transfer pricing, advisory, and transformation projects.
You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of high-profile initiatives including M&A activity, refinancing, restructures, automation projects, and international business partnering across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Reporting
• Lead UK corporate tax compliance in partnership with external advisors and international finance teams.
• Support the Group year-end tax reporting process under IFRS / IAS12, including tax packs, consolidations, technical analysis, and audit support.
• Prepare group ETR calculations and cash tax forecasts.
• Manage UK statutory tax disclosures and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate global compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support the development and enhancement of Transfer Pricing policies and documentation.
Risk Management & Controls
• Lead the UK Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) compliance process.
• Support tax governance, controls, and risk management across the group.
• Maintain and improve tax process documentation and compliance frameworks.
• Drive process improvement and support automation initiatives within the tax function.
Business Partnering, Advisory & Projects
• Partner with finance and operational teams globally on strategic business matters.
• Support M&A activity, refinancing projects, restructures, and commercial initiatives.
• Assist with tax authority enquiries and tax controversy management.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, optimise processes, and enhance reporting capability.
• Support scenario modelling and commercial analysis to aid decision-making.
• Assist with management of the Group Tax budget and forecasting activities.
About You
Experience & Qualifications
• ACA / CTA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong corporate tax experience gained within a multinational business, Big 4, or Top Tier environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS / IAS12 tax reporting.
• Exposure to international tax and transfer pricing would be highly advantageous.
• Commercially minded with the ability to apply technical tax knowledge within a fast-paced business environment.
