How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Company Description Established in 2020, our in-house cable moulding and termination services are supported by an extensive range of polyurethane and neoprene cable stock, allowing us to deliver fast, reliable turnaround times. From initial design and production through to manufacturing, testing, and quality control, we manage every stage of the process in-house, providing complete end-to-end solutions and confidence in the quality and performance of every product we deliver.


    Role Description We are seeking a motivated and organised Stores & Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Aberdeen. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the stores, warehouse, and logistics function within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will manage the flow of materials, components, tools, and finished goods, ensuring timely receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch to support subsea cable and umbilical projects. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting incoming goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and preparing materials and kits for production and project activities.


    The role also involves preparing and maintaining shipping and customs documentation, coordinating collections and deliveries with suppliers and logistics providers, and tracking shipments to support project schedules and customer requirements. The Stores & Logistics Coordinator will work closely with production, purchasing, engineering, project teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure materials are available, stored correctly, and delivered on time.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials, components, and equipment
    • Store inventory safely and correctly within the warehouse and stores areas
    • Issue stock and materials to production and project teams
    • Prepare material kits for cable assembly and repair projects
    • Coordinate domestic and international shipments with suppliers, freight companies, and carriers
    • Prepare shipping, dispatch, and customs documentation
    • Track deliveries and shipments to ensure project timelines are met
    • Maintain accurate inventory and stock records using Sage 50
    • Conduct regular stock checks
    • Support purchasing and project teams with stock availability and logistics updates
    • Assist with packing, dispatch, and material handling activities
    • Respond to logistics and delivery queries from internal teams and customers
    • Proactively resolve stock, shipment, or delivery issues that may impact operations
    • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse/stores environment
    • Follow all company health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures


    Qualifications & Experience

    • Experience using Sage 50 minimum of 2 years
    • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain role, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, offshore, or subsea industries
    • Strong inventory management and stock control experience
    • Experience coordinating shipments, deliveries, and logistics activities
    • Good understanding of warehouse and supply chain processes
    • Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external suppliers/customers
    • Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical components, such as cables, connectors, or tooling, would be advantageous
    • Ability to safely handle and move materials and equipment
    • Forklift licence/certification is desirable
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
