How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Our client, a premium womenswear brand celebrated for its strong ethos and uncompromising quality, is seeking a talented Product Development Assistant to join their growing team.


    This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the development cycle and play a hands-on role within a brand that is carving out its place in the industry.

    I am also open to speak with exceptional entry level candidates with strong internship experience and a clear passion for the industry.

    This role will be responsible for:

    • Manage and drive the development critical path working across the womenswear categories
    • Support the PD Manager with system management, taking the lead to ensure all details are updated through the process.
    • Work closely with the team, providing excellent administrative support across all areas.
    • Tech Pack and Bill of Materials Management
    • Be able to set up and update the costings sheets, ensuring all changes are documented.
    • Work to product launch dates and following up on sampling to ensure these dates are maintained.
    • Effective communication with the offshore manufacturers through the critical path, troubleshooting and solving solutions
    • Chase and track all samples required for approval through the sampling development process, ensuring comments are given to the factory in a timely manner and all queries followed up, including lab dips and bulk approvals.
    • Provide regular updates to the teams on the sampling schedule, working through any issues proactively but also ensuring minimal delay to launch dates
    • Provide support to the technical team when needed, with measuring and preparing samples for the fit meetings



    Our client is looking for someone who:

    • Proven experience in a similar role within Premium / Luxury fashion. Technical Knowledge would be a bonus
    • Be a self-starter and motivated as well as excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of communication with the factories and in-house team with the ability to build successful relationships
    • A quick learner and able to work within a dynamic team, adapting to the daily needs of the team
    • Excellent organisational skills and a strong team member who can also work well on your own as required and a strong work ethic
    • Being able to work in a team as well as proactively independent when required
    • Strong all-round IT skills, including Excel and a PLM system
    • Have a flexible approach to your work and the business, be a key team player and support across the business as required

    Hybrid working is on offer. 2 days from home, 3 days in the office, and some flexibility maybe needed with this as required. Further details can be discussed
