How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Company Background: Turtle Beach Corporation (www.turtlebeachcorp.com) is one of the world’s leading gaming accessory providers. The Company’s namesake Turtle Beach brand (www.turtlebeach.com) is known for designing best-selling gaming headsets, top-rated game controllers, award-winning PC gaming peripherals, and groundbreaking gaming simulation accessories. Innovation, first-to-market features, a broad range of products for all types of gamers, and top-rated customer support have made Turtle Beach a fan-favorite brand and the market leader in console gaming audio for over a decade. Turtle Beach’s shares are traded on the Nasdaq Exchange under the symbol: TBCH.

Turtle Beach believes diversity in the workplace creates an environment where different perspectives lead to improved creativity, productivity, team member engagement, and overall employee happiness. We’re simply looking for the best person for the job, and if that’s you…let’s talk!

Summary: As an Industrial Designer within our Product Design team, you will be designing gaming hardware across all Turtle Beach categories, including controllers, PC Peripherals, simulation hardware, accessories and emerging product areas. This is a hands on role where you’ll take projects from early concept through to production, working closely with engineering and global teams to bring real products to market. If you’re motivated by seeing your work on shelves (and in gamers’ hands), this role is built for you. You’ll be part of a collaborative, design led team with ownership, accountability and the opportunity to influence products used by millions of players worldwide. This role supports hybrid working, balancing focused design time from home with on-site collaboration, prototyping and reviews in the studio.

Our process and what you will be responsible for:

    • Starting with users and context. Carry out primary and secondary research to understand player needs, pain points and aspirations.
    • Explore design and feature opportunities through sketching, ideation and rapid concept development, generating and communicating multiple solutions.
    • Develop concepts into refined proposals, balancing form, ergonomics, usability, brand and performance.
    • Build and iterate physical prototypes using foam, clay, 3D printing and rapid mock-ups.
    • Translate design intent into high-quality A-surface SolidWorks CAD for engineering handover.
    • Create rendered product assets for internal pitch decks and marketing using KeyShot and Adobe Suite.
    • Carry out CMF exploration and specification for engineering handover.
    • Collaborate closely with engineering through detailed development, supporting manufacturability while protecting intent.
    • Manage multiple projects in parallel across different product types and stages.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • A strong portfolio demonstrating front-end design thinking and end-to-end product development. Please keep your portfolio to 20 MB or less.
    • Strong sketching ability and visual storytelling skills. • Hands-on prototyping and model-making experience.
    • Experience with SolidWorks, KeyShot and Adobe Suite.
    • A good understanding of DFM, materials and manufacturing processes.
    • Experience creating high-quality renderings and presentation material.
    • Strong communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally.
    • A genuine interest in gaming, whether as a player, enthusiast or hardware fan.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.

    Experience Level:

Typically 5+ years’ professional industrial or product design experience, depending on portfolio strength. Exceptional portfolios matter more than time served.

    Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design or a related discipline

    What we offer:

    • The opportunity to design and ship globally released consumer hardware.
    • A role that builds a portfolio of real, on-shelf products.
    • A collaborative studio environment with an experienced design team.
    • Compensation aligned with experience, with flexibility for higher-calibre candidates.
    • Hybrid working. Monday and Wednesday are in-office days for all the team, with a flexible third day as needed. Fully remote applicants will not be considered.
    • Opportunities to visit teams in Asia and the US.
    • Up to 8% matched pension.
    • Private health plan.
    • Medical cash plan.
    • A design-led culture with trust, ownership and real creative impact.

    Additional Information:

We are unable to provide Visa Sponsorship. We will not consider any candidate who may requires Visa Sponsorship now or in future.

Fully remote applicants will not be considered.
