How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

🚀Member of Technical Staff (Full Stack Product Engineer)🚀

    Early Stage AI Infrastructure Startup

    📍 London | Hybrid

💸 Up to £150k + Up to 0.5% Equity (Dependent on level).

We’re working with an early-stage AI startup building core infrastructure focused on AI evaluation, structured data workflows, and production-grade operational tooling for frontier AI systems.

The company is building the systems around model performance combining human-in-the-loop workflows, evaluation tooling, quality control systems, and AI-assisted operations into a scalable platform used within high-stakes environments.

This is a genuine early-stage startup environment: small team, high ownership, fast execution, minimal bureaucracy, and direct involvement in shaping both product and engineering direction.

    ⚙️ The Role

This is a highly product-focused engineering role for a strong full stack engineer who enjoys building complete products end-to-end.

You’ll help design and build the internal platform powering the company’s AI evaluation and data operations engine, including workflows, tooling, interfaces, review systems, and automation pipelines.

The ideal person will care just as much about product usability, workflows, and frontend experience as they do about backend systems and architecture.

You’ll work closely with founders and users to turn complex manual processes into scalable software products, rapidly iterating based on feedback in a fast-moving startup environment.

    🧩 What You’ll Be Doing

    • Build full stack internal products for AI evaluation and structured data workflows
    • Design intuitive user interfaces and operational tooling
    • Develop systems for task routing, review pipelines, QA workflows, and validation
    • Integrate LLMs into automation and evaluation pipelines
    • Work directly with users to improve workflows and product experience
    • Own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
    • Help shape engineering standards, architecture, and product direction as the company scales

    🧠 What They’re Looking For

    • Strong full stack engineering capability across frontend and backend
    • Experience building and shipping products within early-stage startup environments
    • Engineers who enjoy ambiguity, ownership, and rapid iteration
    • Product-minded individuals who care about user experience and workflow design
    • Comfortable operating without heavily defined requirements or large support structures
    • Experience building internal tools, operational platforms, or workflow systems
    • Engineers who actively use AI tooling within their development workflows
    • People who prefer fast-moving, high-impact environments over large corporate structures

    ✅ Strong Signals

    • Early-stage startup or founding engineer experience.
    • Strong frontend product engineering capability.
    • Experience owning products or features end-to-end.
    • Background building internal platforms or workflow tooling.
    • Exposure to LLM products, AI tooling, or evaluation systems.
    • Evidence of shipping quickly and iterating based on user feedback.

    🛠 Typical Tech Environment

Experience with the following is beneficial:

    • TypeScript / React / modern frontend frameworks
    • Python or Node.js backend systems
    • APIs, Postgres, workflow orchestration, and cloud infrastructure
    • AI tooling and LLM integrations

The environment will suit engineers who are pragmatic, product-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup setting.

    🌱 Why Join?

    • Join at an early stage with genuine product and technical ownership
    • Help shape a foundational AI infrastructure platform from the ground up
    • Work directly with founders in a highly collaborative environment
    • High-impact role with meaningful influence on product direction
    • Strong long-term upside through equity participation
