How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Roxwell Talent is working with a well-regarded, London law firm (c.1000 people) to appoint an HR Systems Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The firm operates across private capital, M&A, and disputes, and has a strong reputation for complex, high-value work.

You'll join a busy HR Operations team, sitting alongside an HR Systems & Processes Manager and one other Systems Administrator. The focus of the role is HR data management, firm-wide reporting, and the ongoing development of the firm's HRIS platform (Cascade).

    What you'll be doing

    • Managing day-to-day HR data and firm-wide reporting requirements
    • Supporting the development and maintenance of the HRIS (Cascade)
    • Designing and building automated end-to-end workflows within the system

    • Troubleshooting system issues and working with the vendor to find solutions
    • Supporting annual pay gap reporting and salary review processes
    • Contributing to continuous improvement across the HR function

    What we're looking for

    • Minimum one year of HRIS or systems administration experience, ideally gained in a professional services or legal environment
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office 365
    • Prior experience with HR information systems (Cascade experience a bonus)
    • Methodical, detail-oriented approach with strong prioritisation skills
    • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
    • Pragmatic problem-solver with a can-do attitude

    About the firm

The firm is large enough to handle the most complex mandates, yet small enough that people genuinely know each other. The culture is collaborative and supportive, with a genuine commitment to learning and development. They welcome applications from all backgrounds and are actively working to build an inclusive environment.

There are approximately 45 people working in this close knit HR team and you will learn a lot and develop your skills and experience in a supportive environment.

This role will involve hybrid working with typically 3 days in the office per week.
