Payroll Administrator
Location: Manchester
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
JGA are partnering with a leading global payroll and HR solutions organisation to recruit experienced Payroll Administrators to join their growing service team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected international business known for its supportive culture, strong employee development, and innovative payroll technology solutions.
The Opportunity
Working within a fast-paced payroll environment, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of payroll clients and delivering accurate end-to-end payroll services while maintaining exceptional client service standards.
This role would suit payroll professionals who enjoy working to deadlines, managing multiple priorities, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing end-to-end payrolls for a portfolio of clients
- Managing payroll queries and resolving issues efficiently
- Carrying out manual payroll calculations where required
- Ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and on time
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working collaboratively within a supportive payroll team
- Maintaining up-to-date payroll legislation knowledge
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous payroll experience within a bureau environment is highly desirable
- Experience processing payroll from start to finish
- Ability to manage your own client portfolio/workload
- Confident completing manual payroll calculations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working to multiple deadlines
Additional Information
- Hybrid working model: 3 days office-based / 2 days remote
- Standard working hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm with 1-hour lunch
- Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
