About Saar
Saar is a curated digital e-concept store built in Delhi, India — at the intersection of fashion, ritual, and interior living. We don't have catalogues. We have drops — each one named, art-directed, and treated like a living moodboard. Our references are Jacquemus, Le Creuset, Aesop, and Cabana Magazine. India hasn't seen anything quite like us yet.

The role
Build the UK and European chapter of Saar Editions from scratch — scout independent EU/UK brands, onboard them, and bring them to India for the first time, under Saar's editorial lens. Full creative authority. A credited body of work in your name.
What you'll do
· Scout and onboard independent brands, ateliers and studios across Europe and the UK
· Walk Salone del Mobile, Maison & Objet, Homo Faber, London Craft Week — and the quieter fairs that matter more
· Visit ateliers in person, request samples, build vendor relationships before we transact
· Shoot editorial photography and short-form video of founders, ateliers and products in their own world
· Fly to Delhi occasionally to co-create drops with the Saar team and be on set when it matters
· Own your edit — the brands you discover, the relationships you build, the objects you bring to India first
Not in scope: holding stock, signing on Saar's behalf, or handling logistics and finance.
Who we're looking for
· Currently studying for a Master's (design, fashion, art history, anthropology, hospitality, luxury management, curatorial studies, publishing) or recently graduated
· Based anywhere in Europe or the UK
· A strong, trained eye — you know great design from good design immediately
· Entrepreneurial — you figure things out, you don't wait to be told
· Able to open doors — you can walk into a studio in Milan or a workshop in Lisbon and make them want to be part of something larger
· A capable content maker — you can shoot a founder's atelier and make it feel like a Saar story
· Fluent in English; a second European language (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Danish, Dutch, German) is a real advantage
How it works
· Part-time, approximately 20 hours a week, flexible around fairs, studio visits and India trips
· GBP 300/month stipend
· Travel costs for fairs, in-person brand meetings, and Delhi trips are covered by Saar
· Remote, from your home city
This structure is intentional — it leaves room alongside a Master's programme, freelance content work, or another role that supports your living costs. The upside is creative authority, equity in what you build, and a credited body of work
How to apply
Do not apply through LinkedIn's quick apply. Write directly to bani@saarcollective.com with the subject line "The Edit" and tell us:
1. Three brands you'd bring to India first — and why they belong at Saar (not the obvious ones)
2. A taste profile — a mood board, Instagram, Pinterest, a list of places, a note in your phone. Anything honest.
3. One project or experience that shows you can open a door
4. One project or experience that shows you can make something look good
5. Why you — in whatever form feels right
