How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Employee Relations Specialist (UK)

    London | Office-Based | Inditex

We are hiring an Employee Relations Specialist to support our UK retail business across multiple brands within one of the largest fashion retailers in the world.

This is a high-volume, operational ER role requiring strong experience in case management, UK employment law, and stakeholder management within a fast-paced environment.

    Key Focus of the Role

    • End-to-end ER case management (disciplinary, grievance, capability, investigations, appeals, SOSR)
    • Managing high-risk and complex employee relations cases
    • Providing clear, practical guidance to retail managers
    • Ensuring legal compliance (UK employment law, ACAS) and consistent decision-making
    • Supporting restructures, change programmes, and business-critical activity
    • Conducting weekly store visits – this is a hands-on, field-facing role
    • Using data, judgement, and risk assessment to drive outcomes

    What You Must Bring

    • Proven experience in Employee Relations / ER Specialist / HR Advisor role
    • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
    • Experience managing high-volume ER caseloads independently
    • Background in retail, hospitality, logistics, or other fast-paced environments
    • Confidence influencing and challenging stakeholders at all levels
    • Ability to work at pace with accuracy and strong attention to detail
    • Comfortable in an office-based role with regular travel to stores

    (CIPD experience)

    What Makes This Role Different

    • Scale – supporting multiple brands across a large UK retail network
    • Pace – high-volume, real-time decision making
    • Exposure – direct impact on store operations and employee experience
    • Ownership – managing cases end-to-end with real accountability
  • Why Join Inditex

    • One of the largest global fashion retail groups
    • A business where decisions happen quickly and impact is visible
    • Opportunity to build depth in complex, commercial ER
    • Work alongside experienced leaders in a high-performance environment

    Important

This role is best suited to candidates who are:

    • Resilient, decisive, and solutions-focused
    • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-moving ER environment
    • Motivated by operational impact rather than purely strategic HR

If you have strong Employee Relations experience, thrive in fast-paced retail environments, and are looking for a role with real ownership and complexity, apply now.
