We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our lovely Client based in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical and electrical background to apply their expertise in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will have mechanical experience ideally from commercial or HGV vehicles or relevant
experience in mechanical fitting & welding repairs. Experience of vehicle electrics and hydraulics would be desirable.
A full driving licence is essential.
The role will involve:
* Fault finding and repairs
* Refurbishment work
* Welding repairs
* Completing work to company standards and to deadlines
* Completing required documentation relating to daily work
Whilst fulfilling the role the successful candidate will be expected to maintain good housekeeping practices and demonstrate responsibility for their personal health and safety and those around them.
The ideal candidate will be professional and self-motivated with the ability to solve problems alongside a desire to develop and learn. Good communication skills are vital for this role, both in dealing with external and internal customers. The ideal candidate must be confident & flexible enough to work alone and as part of a team. Good organisational skills, time management and administration skills are vital.
The generous package is dependent on experience and will include:
* Competitive Salary- negotiable based on experience
* Basic Hours - 42 hours a week. Monday - Thursday 7.45 - 5pm. Friday 7.45 - 3.15
