How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title

Recruiter – Inditex (UK & Ireland) Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Pull and Bear, Lefties, Zara Home and Oysho.

    Contract: Full Time

    Reporting to: Head of Talent

    Role Purpose

The Recruiter plays a critical, front‑line role in attracting, identifying and hiring talent to meet the immediate and future needs of our retail stores across the UK and Ireland.

This is a high‑energy, operational recruitment role working at pace within a live retail environment. The role is not only office‑based — it requires regular store visits, direct engagement with hiring managers, and proactive candidate sourcing on the ground.

The Recruiter is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end recruitment while ensuring a strong candidate experience, building robust talent pipelines, and responding quickly to changing store priorities.

    Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing & Retail Recruitment Delivery

    • Screen CVs and assess candidates against role requirements, retail experience, availability, and cultural fit.
    • Conduct high‑volume candidate calls, appointments, and classifications aligned to current and future store needs.
    • Develop and execute recruitment strategies for Sales Assistant and Management roles, using multiple channels (ATS, job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and in‑store activity).
    • Proactively source candidates via the internal ATS and external platforms, including visiting stores and challenging locations to attract local talent.
    • Stay close to the market to maintain a competitive edge in attraction, assessment, and sourcing.
    • Ensure candidates are fully pre‑screened before progressing into store interview stages across the UK and Ireland.
    • Plan, coordinate, and deliver 1:1 and group interviews, including assessment days and store‑based recruitment activity.
    • Manage offers, hiring decisions, and all recruitment administration (offers, contracts, store communications, and hiring paperwork).
    • Follow up and support onboarding processes for new starters to ensure a smooth transition into store teams.

    Hiring Manager & Store Partnership

    • Work closely with Store Managers, Area Managers, and HR to define role requirements, competencies, and selection criteria.
    • Build strong, trusted relationships with all INDITEX UK & Ireland stores, with stores treated as the top priority.
    • Maintain regular communication with HR, Heads of Department, and stores to understand hiring pressures and workforce plans.
    • Provide insight on local talent markets, availability, and hiring challenges to support decision‑making.

    HR, Projects & Employer Branding

    • Design and update job descriptions and interview questions aligned to retail realities.
    • Support and deliver employer branding initiatives that reflect the pace, culture, and expectations of store roles.
    • Organise and attend job fairs, recruitment events, group interviews, and inductions.
    • Support quarterly and annual hiring forecasts based on store trading needs.
    • Contribute to the development of policies and best practices for talent assessment and interviewing.
    • Represent INDITEX internally and externally at recruitment events, acting as a brand ambassador.
    • Manage candidate data in full compliance with GDPR and internal policies.
    • Propose and support projects that improve recruitment quality, speed, productivity, and internal brand visibility.
    • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with employment law, internal standards, and D&I commitments.

    Talent Pool Management

    • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date data within the INDITEX ATS and external job boards.
    • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with previous applicants and future talent.
    • Track and analyse recruitment metrics to maintain a healthy talent pool and continuously improve sourcing strategies.

    Candidate Experience

    • Deliver a positive, efficient, and transparent candidate journey from first contact through onboarding.
    • Maintain clear and timely communication on interview stages, timelines, and outcomes.
    • Provide candidates with clear information on roles, benefits, salary, and the retail working environment.
    • Act as the first point of contact for candidates, ensuring professional, consistent, and supportive candidate care.

    Skills, Experience & Attitudes

    • Strong understanding of full‑cycle recruitment, ideally within a fast‑paced or retail environment.
    • Solid knowledge of candidate selection, interviewing, and assessment methods.
    • Excellent organisational, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
    • Comfortable managing high volumes and shifting priorities in a live retail setting.
    • Proactive, resilient, and solutions‑focused with a hands‑on approach.
    • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to store needs.
    • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.
    • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
    • Self‑motivated, energetic, and comfortable being visible in stores.
    • Management experience desirable but not essential.
