Engineering Manager – Electronics & Product Development

At Stiltz, we're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented multidisciplinary engineering team, influence the development of our exciting homelift product range, and play a key role in delivering solutions from concept through to manufacture.

You will have a strong technical understanding with excellent project and people leadership skills across electronics, embedded systems, software, and electromechanical product development.

What you will do:

Lead research and development projects from concept through to manufacturing handover, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines, quality, and business objectives

Manage and support multidisciplinary engineering teams, creating a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing environment

Provide technical leadership on electronics-led and electromechanical projects, supporting robust and practical engineering solutions

Monitor project progress, risks, priorities, and resources to maintain momentum and remove delivery obstacles

Lead project reviews and communicate progress, risks, and key decisions clearly to stakeholders

Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product teams to ensure smooth implementation and product readiness

Support effective validation, testing, documentation, and engineering change processes to maintain compliance and product quality

Promote continuous improvement and strong engineering practices across teams

What we are looking for:

Proven experience in leading engineering or technical product development projects

Established engineering leadership experience within a multidisciplinary product development environment

Strong understanding of electronics, electrical systems, embedded systems, or electromechanical products

Ability to balance technical detail with project-level delivery focus

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills

Understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacture principles

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards

Desirable

Experience with Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, or similar project management methods
