Roles & Responsibilities:
* Produce material take-offs and schedules using Logikal software.
* Place orders for materials and liaise with system suppliers.
* Monitor supplier lead times and ensure materials are delivered in line with project programmes.
* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials.
* Support the production team to ensure projects progress efficiently.
* Assist with technical design and detailing activities.
* Maintain accurate records of orders, schedules, and project requirements.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across production and procurement functions.
* Assist with project coordination activities as required.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical knowledge and industry expertise.
* Provide general administrative support to the production and technical teams where necessary.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience within the façade, glazing, aluminium systems, manufacturing, construction, or related industries is advantageous.
* Previous experience in material ordering, procurement, production planning, scheduling, or estimating would be beneficial.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
* AutoCAD experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
* Experience using Logikal software would be highly desirable.
* Knowledge of Kawneer, Schueco, or Metal Technology systems would be beneficial.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Candidates with a willingness to learn and develop within the industry are encouraged to apply.
Hours: Mon to Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Salary: £26,500-£34,000 (DOE)
