How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Workshop Recruitment is supporting a well-established employee-owned building services business in the search for a skilled Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a varied field-based role across London and the surrounding areas.

    The successful Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and servicing across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.     Key Responsibilities

    Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on AC systems.
    Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
    Service VRVs, VRFs, splits, multi-splits, AHUs and FCUs.
    Complete detailed service reports and documentation.
    Assist with remedial quotations and additional works recommendations.
    Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
    Liaise professionally with customers and site contacts.
    Support fellow engineers when required across the portfolio.

    Skills & Knowledge Required

    Previous experience as a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer.
    City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification or equivalent.
    Valid F-Gas certification.
    Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
    Experience working on commercial HVAC systems.
    Good communication and customer service skills.
    Computer literate, including email, Word and Excel.
    Reliable, organised and self-motivated approach.
