How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Site Engineer
    A fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a major high-rise residential development in Greenwich. This Site Engineer role offers long-term work on a complex RC Frame package, giving exposure to a 20+ storey build and a strong project team.

    About the role of Site Engineer
    This Site Engineer role will see you working on a large-scale RC frame high-rise project currently underway (around 5 storeys completed). You will be supporting the delivery of the RC Frame package, working closely with the Site and Project Management team, with a strong focus on QA, reporting, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout.

    Responsibilities for Site Engineer
    * Managing QA processes and completing QA reports
    * Supporting the delivery of the RC Frame package
    * Working closely with site management and subcontractors
    * Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications

    Requirements for Site Engineer
    * Experience working on RC Frame projects (essential)
    * Previous high-rise / multi-storey experience preferred
    * Strong knowledge of QA processes and documentation
    * CSCS card and relevant engineering qualification

    Well-established main contractor delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use projects across London, with a strong pipeline of work and reputation for quality delivery.
