Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support one of our specialist partner schools in Northampton. This welcoming and supportive setting caters for students with a range of additional needs, including high-functioning autism, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities.

We are primarily looking for candidates seeking long-term placements with the opportunity to progress into permanent roles, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to establish a rewarding career within Special Educational Needs education. In addition, there will be occasional day-to-day and short-term cover opportunities available for those seeking greater flexibility.

The Role:

Providing classroom support to students with additional learning and physical needs.
Working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
Assisting with personal care where required and helping to ensure students feel safe, supported, and valued throughout the school day.What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with children, young people, or adults with additional needs is desirable.
A caring, patient, and resilient nature.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
