HR Assistant - The Role:
As HR Assistant, you’ll provide essential administrative support to the HR function and wider business. You’ll play a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly—from recruitment and onboarding through to employee changes and leavers.
You’ll also act as a first point of contact for HR queries, helping deliver a responsive and professional HR service across the organisation.
HR Assistant – Key Responsibilities:
Working in a highly stakeholder-facing role, the position covers:
* New starter administration
* Onboarding and inductions
* Recruitment administration
* HR system / Ticketing / and HR inbox management & maintenance
* Employee changes / Leavers administration
* Employee lifecycle administration (absence, payroll updates, probation, ER support)
* HR policies / projects and documentation support
* Background screening and vetting
About You:
I’m looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and enjoys working in a busy HR environment. You’ll likely have:
* 2yrs+ as an HR Assistant
* Be incredibly people-centric : )
* Ideally CIPD Foundation level
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
* A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A proactive, positive attitude with a “can-do” mindset
* Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
