How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Registered Manager – Adult Social Care

    We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead an adult social care service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance and operational performance.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated care leader who is passionate about delivering person-centred support and driving positive outcomes for adults with care and support needs.

    The Role

    As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the service, ensuring it operates in line with CQC requirements, company policies and best practice standards.

    You will lead and develop the staff team, maintain strong compliance, support service growth and ensure people receive safe, effective and dignified care.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    Manage the day-to-day operation of the service

    *

    Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and standards

    *

    Lead, supervise and develop the staff team

    *

    Maintain high-quality care plans, risk assessments and records

    *

    Promote safeguarding, dignity, independence and person-centred care

    *

    Build strong relationships with service users, families and professionals

    *

    Support audits, quality assurance and service improvement

    *

    Manage staffing, rotas, performance and training

    *

    Drive positive outcomes and maintain high standards of care delivery

    Requirements

    *

    Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Service Manager

    *

    Strong knowledge of CQC regulations

    *

    Experience within adult social care

    *

    Level 5 Health and Social Care, or working towards

    *

    Strong safeguarding knowledge

    *

    Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills

    *

    Ability to manage compliance, audits and service quality

    Desirable

    *

    Experience in residential, supported living, domiciliary care or complex care

    *

    Good or Outstanding CQC exposure

    *

    Full UK driving licence
