We are currently recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Production Operative to join a successful manufacturing business in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience who are looking to develop their skills within a supportive and growing organisation.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring components are prepared, processed, and inspected in line with company standards and customer requirements. The role involves a variety of production tasks, including preparation work, surface treatment processes, and quality inspection activities.
Key Responsibilities
Carefully handle and move components throughout the production process to prevent damage.
Complete all production and process documentation accurately.
Prepare components prior to processing in accordance with work instructions.
Remove masking materials from production parts.
Clean components using specified materials and methods.
Carry out visual inspections to ensure products meet required quality standards.
Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment is essential.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to manage workload effectively and work to production deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn new processes.
