Teacher of Psychology - Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire
Tradewind-partnered secondary school seeks an engaging Teacher of Psychology to join its successful Humanities and Social Sciences department from September.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating an inspiring classroom environment where students thrive academically and personally.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Psychology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, helping students develop analytical thinking, research skills and confidence in the subject. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and ECTs who are eager to develop within a supportive department.
The role will involve:
Planning and delivering creative and challenging lessons
Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve excellent outcomes
Monitoring progress and providing effective feedback
Contributing to the wider life of the department and school community
Encouraging curiosity, independence and academic ambition
The school is looking for someone who:
Holds UK QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Psychology
Builds positive relationships with students and colleagues
Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and behaviour management
Is committed to continuous professional development
