Are you a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience in Early Years? We are working with a warm, welcoming primary school in Barnet that is looking for a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This small, close-knit school caters for children aged 3–11 (including Nursery) and provides a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to thrive, develop confidence and celebrate their individuality. About the Role
As a Reception Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS learning opportunities while providing targeted support for two children with ASD and ADHD. One child is minimally verbal and has a short attention span, so experience supporting children with additional needs in an Early Years setting is essential.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Experience working within an EYFS setting
• Experience supporting children with ASD and/or ADHD
• Knowledge of strategies to support children who are minimally verbal
• A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young childrens development
