Key responsibilities as Management Accountant:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting for the UK entities.
Key duties will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with local GAAP
Cash reporting, banking, and processing of payments
Full ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolution of variances
Reconciliation of stock, consignment stock, and GRNI at month-end
Accurate calculation and recording of accruals and prepayments
Management of intercompany recharges and service charge allocations
Liaison with external tax advisors and support for the preparation of tax returns
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal group policies
Supporting external audit processes, including provision of audit documentation
Providing financial insights and performance updates to key business stakeholders
Supporting ad hoc financial projects and operational initiatives as required
What we’re looking for in a Management Accountant:
Qualified Accountant (ACA,CIMA or ACCA)
Solid understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Advanced Excel skills, including use of VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas
A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across departments and regions
A professional attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges
