Location: Witham
Pay: £12.85ph + £1 shift allowance, rising to over £15ph once permanent
We are currently recruiting for Night Shift Factory Operatives to join a busy manufacturing company based in Witham. This is a long-term opportunity offering full-time hours and the chance to secure a permanent position with increased pay rates.
This role will involve working within a manufacturing and production environment, so previous factory or manufacturing experience is essential.
Duties of the Night Shift Factory Operative will include:
Preparing products for the production process
Working on production lines and within the factory environment
Operating machinery and manufacturing equipment
Using overhead cranes and forklifts where required (training provided)
Loading, unloading and moving products safely around the factory
Carrying out quality checks on finished products
Keeping working areas clean, safe and organised
Following all production procedures and health & safety guidelines
Supporting other departments when requiredThe ideal Night Shift Factory Operative candidate will have:
Previous manufacturing, production or factory experience
A good attitude towards work and willingness to learn
Experience working within a fast-paced environment
The ability to carry out physical work and manual handling duties
Good teamwork and communication skills
A strong awareness of health & safety within a factory environmentHours:
Monday to Friday
10:00pm - 6:00am
