This position requires a passionate and creative individual who can design an inclusive activity programme that caters to the diverse interests and abilities of older adults.
The job holder will build connections with the wider community, engage volunteers, and ensure that all activities foster social interaction, physical engagement and cognitive stimulation.
This role is crucial in creating a vibrant, supportive environment where residents feel val-ued, connected and engaged.
Qualifications
• A relevant qualification in social care, recreational therapy or a related field e.g. Level 3 (QCF) Supporting the Activities Provision, or degree in Occupational Therapy or similar desired
• At least one additional certification in arts/music therapy/community or engagement /music
Experience
• Proven experience in planning and implementing activities or programmes for people.
• Background in coordinating events or programmes in a health or social care environ-ment.
• Experience in leading group activities or workshops.
